MEET YOUR HOST

Gina Paulson. A wedding and elopement photographer based out of Washington state. With a decade of industry experience and hundreds of weddings photographed, she’s built a business that consistently brings in six figures and is consistently scaling. She has spent the last 3 years teaching other photographers to do the same. She is known for big smiles, joyful images + positive energy. Outside of weddings, she loves fitness, spending time at the lake and soaking up every second with her family and kids.

I created this workshop because I believe in the power that can be created when combining creativity + strategy + community—a combination that transforms passion into a thriving business. After a decade in the industry, I’ve watched many photographers not make it. The commonality I saw was not their lack of artistic skill, but their lack of strategy and business systems- and their belief that they needed to do it alone. Instead of focusing on the struggles, I saw a mission: to build a community where our shared love for stunning imagery, need for business systems, and desire for genuine connection comes together. I wanted to create an experience where you can forge your unique style, build a high-end portfolio, and confidently attract the clients you’ve always dreamed of working with.

WELCOME: Monday, May 26th

We’ll kick things off with a warm welcome gathering around a bonfire. There’s something special about a bonfire that fosters connection and community. We’ll share some food and drinks and goals. We’ll set clear and action focused intentions for the next two days.

DAY 1: Tuesday, May 27th

9:00am - 11:00pm

Day 2 is focused on business education broken up with styled shoots. One styled elopement to kick off the day and one styled wedding editorial to end the day. This day is really about setting the foundation for your business (and our next day of the workshop) We will go from morning to evening, with an opportunity to shoot at their sister venue, Griffin House for sunset! We’ll pop out for dinner on this night in Hood River, Oregon and come back for late night bonfires hang outs + editing.

DAY 2: Wednesday, 28th

9:00am - 11:00pm

Day 3 is what truly sets this workshop apart from others. If you’re looking to get into the industry, you need experience for photographing a full wedding day. We are going to cover it all on this day with micro breakout sessions covering each aspect of a wedding day: how to prep, how to photograph it, storytelling for your clients, and how to ensure you’re delivering the absolute best images possible. From getting ready to send offs, this one is jam packed. The night will wrap up with late night snacks around the bonfire.

Day 3: Thursday, 29th

Our final morning will consist of packing up, grabbing some coffee, doing a final wrap up and then hugs + goodbyes. You’ll be excited to hit the road and take all of the education and images back to your desk to get to work!

  • This isn’t about minor tweaks; it's a full-scale transformation. You'll walk away with a portfolio that speaks volumes and actionable business strategies that put you in the driver's seat.   • No way- I got you! The venue hosts 7 tiny cabins and we have access to all of them! While this does mean you will be sharing a tiny cabin with 2 other attendees, rest assured- you’ll have your own bed and place to call to your own for 3 nights.

  • Yup. I will also provide a list of what I’m providing as far as eating goes, and be taking dietary restrictions ahead of time. Each tiny cabin also has its own kitchenette so if you’d like to bring your absolute favorite snacks or drinks, you’re more than welcome to bring whatever makes you feel at home.

  • Unfortunately no. This workshop and venue space is reserved entirely for my paid workshop attendees and there is not additional space for extra bodies. If you’d prefer to not stay in a tiny cabin and book your own lodging nearby, you are MORE than welcome to do so.

  • This workshop is designed for bold photographers who are ready to break through the ceiling of mediocrity. If you're poised to transition from being an emerging talent to a high-end professional, you're exactly who we built this experience for.   • The education break out sessions are designed in a way that touch on what I believe are the 5 pillars of your photography BUSINESS.

    There will education focused on wedding days specifically on day 3.

    And during our styled sessions, while there isn’t formal education on photography, I’ll be there to field questions as needed.

  • There are beds for 10 photographers.

  • Stevenson, WA is fairly mild towards the end of May. Like much of the PNW, there is always a chance of rain in which case we will make magic happen (and experience the realness of wedding days) But plan for mild weather of around 65 degrees, with chillier temps in the evenings (bring a coat and beanie to bundle up with by the fire)

  • You know when it's time to level up, and this workshop is your launchpad to that next chapter. It's for photographers who are ready to make bold decisions that shape their destiny.
