Chris + Tanya | Backyard Engagement
I love that quote. I really do. I have to admit, it wasn't until I started going through these photos though that I completely understood it. So a huge thank you to these two for showing me what it means. It's simple really. Fall in love laughing, laughing hard and laughing without holding back. Fall in love with your foreheads nuzzled so close together that you simply just close your eyes and feel. Fall in love smiling, so much so that your cheeks force your eyes to squint a little. It's that moment of genuine happiness. That moment when you are so consumed in a smile, a laugh, a touch- that you can't help but close your eyes and absorb that feeling. That is how people should fall in love. These photos below are not in some extravagant setting (though your yard was lovely, guys!) But we were just casually having a beer in their backyard on a sunny Sunday- nothing too uncommon. What makes these photos special, is the feeling they capture and the moments they've frozen. I hope Tanya and Chris forever remember this day. Not as anything extraordinary, but just as a normal day full of genuine happiness, absolute love, and good beer.
I also really think Deschutes Brewery should definitely send them a little wedding gift. Don't you agree?
