Evelyn + Woody | Left Bank Annex Wedding
Woody and Evelyn got married in Portland, Oregon on a stormy PNW weekend. The venue, Left Bank Annex, lends itself is perfect to these kind of evenings. Big open windows paired with industrial beams, white walls and wood accents- just beautiful! They had a sweet, sweet ceremony. There were so many tears of happiness and a lot of warm words exchanged. My favorite part from their wedding was hands down, their money dance. This was something I've never seen before as its a Samoan tradition. They had beautiful women in hula skirts and coconuts dancing to some amazing traditional songs and stories. Then Woody came out in his Samoan dress and summoned his bride out who was escorted by the groomsmen. It was amazing and so fun! Everybody got on the dance floor and dollar bills were falling from the sky. At one point I looked over and saw a guest with a dollar bill gun (LITERALLY, it was a wooden machine that shot dollar bills into the air!) The party continued on from here, Evelyn and Woody spent their first evening as husband and wife dancing late into the night with family and friends. They left the building with a quick Sparkler exit before the rain kicked up again. Perfection!
