Elise + Tyler Elegant Lake Tapps Wedding
Elise and Tyler got married on a sunny day out at Lake Tapps, Washington. This is the lake I grew up on as well, so this was pretty special to me. I met Tyler in elementary school, we spent summers growing up on this lake with all of our friends- It's a pretty special place. Flash forward ten years and I found myself back at this beautiful and nostalgic spot photographing such a gorgeous and special day with so many familiar faces, my heart was so warm. I FREAKING LOVE THESE TWO HUMANS. First, we have Tyler who is a professional skier and a total natural in front of the camera. He also cracks a million jokes, is a total tough guy with his guys, but completely melts when Elise enters the room- I love it. Then we have Elise, she's smart, as kind as can be, and a total bombshell babe. They put together this amazing backyard wedding with a rad group of vendors and I loved all of the little details that truly made this special to them. Their ceremony spot was transformed into their reception location during cocktail hour. Tyler and Elise set up their sweetheart table on a small floating dock overlooking all of their guests and the dance floor. Lanterns floated in the water behind them and Tyler hung string lights over the entire yard for a beautiful atmosphere. In the evening, a firework display went off right over the water illuminating the backyard and all of the guests. Then they spent the evening dancing on the dance floor, enjoying late night pizza delivery, and having one heck of party celebrating these two amazing people. Always such an honor when I get to photograph dear friends of mine and I couldn't be more happy for these two!
