Courtny and Ryan's Tree Farm Wedding
What do you get when one of the wedding coordinators of one of your favorite venues gets married? A dreamy, detail filled, and crazy fun wedding. Courtny and Ryan got married in April at Trinity Tree Farm. If you haven’t checked out that venue before, you definitely want to. What’s cool about it is there are actually two venues there, so brides usually have options for what style of venue they want. Because Courtny (and her sister, Brittny) coordinate the weddings that take place at this venue, they were able to utilize BOTH venues for this wedding day (a very unique and special occasion for this venue!) Courtny had one of my favorite dresses of the summer- a two piece two-toned outfit with a gorgeous tulle skirt and two crop top options (one sleeveless and one with sleeves). She rocked some rad booties, black glitter nail polish and I was so obsessed with how true to her own style she was on her wedding day- it was perfect. The day itself called for rain, which luckily at this venue isn’t the biggest problem- it has a ton of option for indoor weddings. We were able to get their first look and most of their portraits done outside which was awesome because the tree farm itself is gorgeous and getting to capture some of the scenery was amazing. They have two adorable pups that were at the wedding and came down the aisle, we did our best to keep them out of the rain puddles and clean for their ceremony debut. They got married in the Barn at TTF, a wooden rustic venue covered in twinkle lights with lots of windows. Courtny is a school teacher and I LOVED that she incorporated some of her student’s artwork in the ceremony area.
After their ceremony, the guests walked through the tree farm to the other side of the property, where the reception was taking place at the Lodge at TTF. The lodge is a gorgeous white large craftsman style home, with tons of natural light and outdoor patio space with firepits (dreamy, right!?) A few of my favorite details were her black matte dinnerware, especially next to some of the gorgeous floral arrangements (my goodness!) I also LOVED the drapery they had for the reception and the little golden bar cart for their cake. I love these two humans, their families, the ability to bring so many of our wedding vendor friends together to come and celebrate one of our own getting married. From catering to DJ to florist and myself, these vendors are genuine and amazing at what they do and I feel so lucky to call them friends. Courtny and Ryan spent the evening being completely surrounded by love and then finished out the evening on the dance floor. This wedding is one for the books, I love these humans and couldn’t be happier to have been able to capture this day.
