BAILEY AND KELLEN’S BACKYARD WEDDING
I feel like I had a good share of backyard wedding’s this past summer that are way more AMAZING than your stereotypical “backyard wedding”. For example, Bailey and Kellen’s wedding. They got married in the backyard of Bailey’s grandparents house. When I met them at their engagement session, Bailey described this place to me and when I showed up the day of, it did not disappoint. It was the PERFECT venue. Bailey is a wedding photographer too, and she dreamt of getting married right in front of this big tree, where she hung a super rad macrame hanging piece and small copper geometric hangings with flowers in them. She had over 200 antique wooden chairs full of her favorite people on the planet and this ceremony was completely their style- full of just as many heartfelt moments as it was laughs. Their reception took place on the same property, with long wooden tables surrounding a dance floor with string lights. There was a live band, some amazing toasts, a crazy amount of smirnoff ice, and some epic dance moves. EVERY piece of the wedding was a result of Bailey’s insane creativity, and with the help of her family and friends who brought those ideas to life. Their guests pitched tents and danced until the moon was well over their heads. It was SUCH a fun wedding and I feel so lucky to have been able to capture it.
