Shannon and Brandon Kitsap Memorial State Park Wedding
Shannon & Brandon got married early June at Kitsap Memorial State Park. Their day called for 60% chance of rain all day with thunder storms. Shannon had envisioned her wedding outside, nestled under tall evergreen trees in the PNW fresh air. She held on to that vision all morning as she got ready while her family continued set up for the wedding. When it was finally time to make the decision, they went for the outdoor ceremony. Moving chair by chair to the outdoor location she dreamed of. They had a first look where they exchanged sweet notes and had some time to themselves. She also had a first look with her son, Jacskon, who's eyes lit up when he saw how beautiful his mom looked. There were bits of light rain throughout the morning but the ceremony was DRY and incredibly beautiful. Their reception was in the hall with string lights and tacos. They had a couple of quick toasts, a first dance, and spent the remaining time walking around talking and spending time with their closest friends and family. It was so clear how much being around these people meant to them, they wanted to take in every second of being with their favorite people. We snuck down to the beach for a minute for a few photos, then came back up to their reception where a patio game of Jenga took place. Their reception had an early bubble exit, and the two then spent the rest of the evening hanging out and camping with anyone who chose to stay. It was a beautiful day, for some amazing, kind, and obviously very LOVED people.
