Mt. Rainier National Park is the perfect place for an adventure session. This park is full of many outdoor activities and trails to explore. Katie and Josh decided to book a session at Mt. Rainier as a last hooray since they were moving away from the PNW. We had a beautiful evening that ended with a perfect sunset!

What is an Adventure Session?

An adventure session is when couples choose to have their session in a unique and special place. This is a great way to reconnect and take time for yourselves. Couples who choose to have an adventure session generally like to spend time out in nature exploring and hiking to beautiful locations. This kind of session usually involves some sort of outdoor activity, adventuring, and documenting your love. Adventure sessions are used to celebrate engagements, proposals, anniversaries, or just because!

How to Choose Your Adventure Session Location in Rainier NP

There are so many great places to have your engagement session in Mt. Rainier, but how do you choose the perfect one? I always suggest either choosing a location that is special to you and your partner or choosing a location that you have been wanting to explore.

It's always a fun idea to go to a location that you and your partner frequent because it is a great representation of your relationship and what means a lot to you both. However, on the flips side exploring a new location can be exciting and can really bring out a lot of emotions since you are experiencing it for the first time.

Additionally, I am happy to find a location for you and will base my suggestions on what scenery you are looking for and how far you want to hike.

What to Wear to Your Adventure Session

I usually suggest wearing clothes that you are comfortable with and are representative of your personality. You don't want to wear anything that doesn't feel like you, or you aren't 100% comfortable with. Coordinating with your partner and making sure you don't wear clashing colors can help to elevate the end result of your photos as well. Activities you can do for your Adventure Session in Rainier National Park

The list of what you can do for your adventure session is endless, and I'm happy to be your guide and adventure buddy for the day! I love photographing couples in Mt. Rainier and can suggest some amazing things for you to do. Many of my couples enjoy hiking for their session, but other things you can do include: exploring a waterfall, kayaking, horseback riding, or simply having a picnic together. Whatever you choose to do I am happy to come along and photograph your love!
