Skye and TJ's wedding at Lake Chelan in Washington was held at the beautiful Tsillan Cellars. This is a popular location for summer weddings and is a popular spot for tourists in Washington to enjoy a glass of wine during their vacation! Lake Chelan is a nature-lover’s paradise and is a destination that has beautiful mountains and vast landscapes, making it the perfect location for a summer Washington wedding.
The Venue and Landscape
Located on the south shore of Lake Chelan sits the 135 acre estate, Tsillan Cellars. Visiting Tsillan Cellars feels like you are being transported to the European countryside - this venue was created to feel like Italy’s Lake Como. With views of Lake Chelan and the Cascade Mountains in the background it makes for the most romantic wedding day experience. Lake Chelan in Washington is absolutely stunning and one of my most favorite locations to photograph weddings at.
Skye and Tj’s Lake Chelan Wedding
The day started out with Skye and Tj getting ready at some super cute Airbnbs! They had their first look at the vineyard. During their first look they read love letters to each other and shared a special and intimate moment before their ceremony. Skye and TJ got married at Lake Chelan in Washington during August and held their ceremony out on the lawn under a beautiful stone pillar arbor that included a stunning view of Lake Chelan and the Cascade mountains in the background.
A closer look at Skye and Tj’s wedding
Skye and Tj decided to go with a classic wedding look - sticking to black and white. All the bridesmaids were dressed in gorgeous black gowns and the groomsmen wore tuxedos - it was a pretty sharp looking bunch!
TJ escorted his mom down the aisle and Skye’s dad walked her down the aisle to meet TJ at the altar. After their ceremony they enjoyed a glass of champagne and toast with their bridal party before dinner and even got a chance to have a private moment to themselves.
They celebrated among their closest friends and family and spent cocktail hour being able to mingle and enjoy their guests' company. There were so many great toasts during Skye and Tj’s wedding, including a toast from Skye’s maid of honor and father; as well as, Tj’s best man. Next up, the couple got to share their first dance which was super beautiful under the chandelier of the tent on the vineyard’s stone patio.
Skye also shared a father-daughter dance with her dad and Tj accompanied his mother on the dance floor for a mother-son dance. The night wrapped up with a bouquet toss and their guests breaking it down on the dance floor. It was definitely a magical day full of fun, laughter, and loving friends and family celebrating beside Skye and TJ. I felt so honored to be apart of their day and couldn’t help but smile throughout the entire experience. It was incredible to be apart of such a genuine couple’s day - you could feel the love between these two for miles!
