Columbia River Gorge Wedding
Kala and Ryan got married at the Griffin House on the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon. It's an absolutely BEAUTIFUL venue, right on the cliff overlooking the river. Kala is a college friend of mine, and I am so happy she found her perfect match in Ryan. They live out in New York City, but she is from the PNW and planned this wedding to take place in her home state. Wedding planning from afar can be a challenge, but they made it happen and had a killer team of vendors who pulled it all together for them. Their wedding day style was timeless and classy. From her sleek dress, to their black and white dance floor- it had the most beautiful touches. Their wedding ceremony took place in the backyard of the Griffin House. It's a short aisle, set amongst the backdrop of the gorge which made for the most amazing views. After the ceremony, guests proceeded to the front of the house for cocktail hour. Kala and Ryan really thought through all of their guests' experiences for this day, setting up multiple lounge spots with trendy sofas that guests could relax on while enjoying a drink. Their reception was beautifully set up under a clear tent with long wood tables that invited guests into conversation. The place settings were thoroughly thought through down to the finest detail. Kala and Ryan sat at a sweetheart table on a plush velvet sofa (accompanied by the bride's fuzzy slippers for when the party started). They had a live band that really kicked the party off - the dance floor didn't stay empty long. These two are absolutely crazy about each other and spent the night dancing together and partying with their people. It was a perfect day celebrating Kala and Ryan!
