Engagement Session in Tacoma, Washington
Max and Whitney’s downtown Tacoma, Washington Engagement session was such a good time. These two love their city and wanted to show off some of their favorite spots. We started at the arboretum where they brought their favorite wine and we sat down and shared a glass before getting started. I love slowing down in these sessions and making this connection. It also eases us into these sessions and helps calm any nerves about being in front of the camera. We then walked through some of the funky streets of Tacoma. They showed me where they went on their first date and we also walked down Whitney’s favorite street in Tacoma. They brought their pup along, a cute german shepherd, who was the best! We ended their session down at the waterfront where we got to taste the salt in the air and listen to the water meet the shore. I had such a great time with them in Tacoma, Washington.
Tacoma has a lot of really cool things to offer for engagement sessions. Within a 10 minute radius you can get everything from urban city vibes to really dense forests to waterfront beach looks. It’s also a lot less crowded than Seattle which is always a major perk when it comes to photos both for parking, keeping people out of your photos, and giving you guys privacy to just enjoy your time together. I’m a huge fan of Tacoma and am so glad Whitney and Max wanted to show me around for their session.
