When I sit down to put together these little blog posts showing off what is usually two people who are crazy about each other, I see it as an opportunity. The people I photograph let me into their life together, even just for a brief hour, and gave me a glimpse at the truest form of their relationship. They trust me to document what they have together, the relationship they've created. They let me into their lives and then let me share what I've seen- it's an honor that I don't take lightly. When I start writing these, I always start with a quote. I spend a good amount of time picking my quotes and I try to find one that matches the couple. Today's quote is about the transparency between two people, which leads me to Ann and Josh. I've known Ann since our freshman year of college. She is lively, smart, and the perfect balance of professionalism meets a whole lot of fun. When she started dating Josh, Ann changed. Josh is genuinely big-hearted, laid back and also a lot of fun. When Ann and Josh started dating, it was almost like she took a really deep breath in, held it just for a second, and then let it out. It's that moment of pure relief and relaxation, when everything feels right. Their trust in each other is so vivid and real. Together is where they can let go and be themselves fully without any judgement. They're a strong balance of two complimentary personalities and I think it's perfect. We set off on a little adventure on a Sunday night and found this little spot to take some photos and I can't thank them enough for just being them.
