Adventure Elopement in Washington State
Raquel and Adam like many other 2020 couples had plans of getting married at a small venue in Washington State. With the restrictions places on events at the time of their wedding, they decided to push their celebration with friends and family out a year and instead just elope somewhere beautiful in the PNW. The timing was just right for them and this location as it had just opened back up for the year with enough snow melted to access it. They had a jewish ceremony (yes, their amazing Rabbi even made the trek with us to perform the ceremony) with the mountains in the background and nothing but quiet surrounding us. It was beautiful. Afterward, we moved to another location in the North Cascades to take in the sunset and grab some portraits. It got prettier and prettier as the evening went on- we couldn’t get over how the Cascades were showing off for us. We ended the evening celebrating their dogs first birthday (naturally!) Dog people are my people, and this champ was so good all day selflessly sharing his birthday with his parent’s wedding- a dog cake was very well deserved! Cheers to these two! Can’t wait to celebrate them more next summer!
